Analisis Sistem Jaringan Irigasi Air Tanah Desa Sumberanyar dengan Menggunakan Software EPANET 2.2 (Studi kasus: Daerah Sumur dalam Banyuwangi 198 Desa Sumberanyar, Wongsorejo, Banyuwangi)

Abstract


Groundwater is used for various purposes, including in the agricultural sector. In this sector, groundwater plays an important role as a source of irrigation for agricultural land, especially during the dry season, when the water supply from the surface is insufficient for irrigation needs. The groundwater irrigation network is a channel system that flows groundwater from the pump building to the rice fields to be irrigated. This study aims to determine the irrigation water and piping needs in SDBW 198 Sumberanyar. The research method used is quantitative. The results of the calculation of the irrigation water needs of SDBW 198 per plot of land showed that the total irrigation water requirement was 39.49 liters/second. The discharge requirement of 39.49 liters/second is the sum of the needs of all plots if they are irrigated simultaneously. Meanwhile, the available pump discharge is 33.84 liters/second. Therefore, irrigation services are not planned simultaneously, but are carried out in turns based on plot groups so that the discharge requirements in each service period do not exceed the pump capacity. The design of the piped irrigation network can irrigate 23.03 hectares of rice fields using 6-inch PVC pipes for pipes P2, P6, P4, P5, P6, P7, P9, P12, 4-inch pipes for pipes P3, P5, P13, P14, P19, and 2-inch pipes for pipes P8, P10, P11, P15, P16, P17, and P18. The highest headloss simulation results were 6.05 m/km for pipe P2 and 8.13 m/km for pipe P6. Because the headloss in pipes P2 and P6 did not meet standards, two air valves had to be installed. The highest pressure simulation results occurred at J-TO1 with a value of 60.93 meters of water, while the lowest pressure was at J-17 with a value of 20.07. Therefore, the pressure simulation results using EPANET 2.2 software met all required criteria.
