Analisis Kinerja Struktur Atas pada Gedung Bertingkat dengan Metode Pushover

Abstract


Indonesia is a high seismic-risk region due to tectonic plate interactions, particularly along the subduction zone south of Java. The Cirebon area is also influenced by megathrust sources and local faults such as the Baribis Fault, posing significant seismic hazard. This condition requires building structures that are not only strong but also capable of maintaining adequate performance during earthquake loading. This study aims to assess the structural performance of a three-story office building through nonlinear static (pushover) analysis. Modeling was conducted in ETABS, referring to SNI 1726:2019, SNI 1727:2020, and SNI 2847:2019, with dead, live, and lateral loads applied incrementally until the structure reached an inelastic condition. The results show that the structure has adequate lateral capacity, with plastic hinge distribution dominated by the Immediate Occupancy (IO) level. Capacity spectrum transformation using FEMA 440 in the X direction produced stable results, while the Y direction yielded anomalous values requiring further validation. Overall, the structure tends to exhibit Immediate Occupancy performance, although the final global performance level cannot yet be conclusively determined. It is recommended that future analysis revalidate the Y-direction performance point and consider refining the plastic hinge modeling parameters to ensure more reliable performance evaluation results.
